Virginia Wolfe is Heffer's compassionate adoptive-mother who has a nervous facial tic, a strong Midwestern American accent, and crazed driving skills. Her trademark is making strange grinding noises with her teeth, a likely outlet of suppressed stress. Her name comes from the renowned English novelist and essayist Virginia Woolf.
