The theme song (as heard before every episode) of the Nickelodeon animated TV show Rocko's Modern Life. It was performed by The B-52's (season 2 onwards) alongside the show's voice actors. Starting in the later seasons, the theme song became country-styled.
Sequence[]
The sequence begins with a grass alongside bugs flying. The grass opens and the kangaroo is hopping with a baby Rocko on a pouch, kicking out of him. A baby Rocko uses a rattle. The clock uses a mallet to grow him up. Rocko is seen wearing a baseball cap and a usual outfit. Removing a baseball cap, the giant hand puts a book in Rocko's brain. Dropping a banana peel, the dog eats a banana peel. The giant hand thumps Rocko and his dog, flying into "Real World". Heffer sees a blob and morphs into a usual Rocko and meets his dog. Rocko screams and a dog rushes with him. A bulldog rushes while Heffer is unimpressed. The four are rushing in a strange, insane city, seeing Filburt and the Bigheads. Rocko and his dog enter in a TV-shaped house (with the show's logo). The characters are seeing the show's logo and crashing painfully.
