Melba Toast is a minor character of Rocko's Modern Life and the comic book series. She is the mysterious Rocko's next-door neighbor, with whom the latter falls head over heels in love with her but never sees her. Melba's face is never seen in the show, nor in the comic.

In the comics, Melba is portrayed as a beautiful, famous, and high-class model for beauty products for hands and feet. Rocko is heartbroken to discover that Melba has a boyfriend named Dave. It is also hinted that Melba is taller than Rocko and is red-colored.
