Flecko is a fly who lives on Rocko's property. He wears a glass eye and is voiced by Tom Kenny.
Appearance[]
As his look suggests, Flecko is a frumpy, dumpy, slobbish looking character. He has blue skin and yellow eyes, with two antennae. In his official art, he has what appears to be stubble on his cheeks and mouth. Along with his color and having a "beer gut" belly, he may be a play on the bluebottle fly. He wears a white tank top undershirt, while wearing the same overpants combination shoes that Heffer wears, only in blue.
Personality[]
Flecko hearkens to older turn of the 20th Century depictions of lower rung slummy city dwellers out of New York City, being an overtly cynical and caustic "thick skinned wiseguy". Some of his actions of the episodes he is a major focus in implies an inferiority complex due to his living situation and being a fly, motivating him to be vindictive and petty, believing he has been slighted against or "made a victim". Although he has been sympathetic in some regards, Flecko tends to make enemies and lose any sympathy due to his abrasive and selfish nature. Other than that, he acts like a barely minimal effort slacker and freeloader.
He is similar in regards to Slippy the Slug in this sense, but does not have the business and grift savvy or the total scumminess of the former.
History[]
He has major roles in three episodes, "Day of the Flecko" in which he deprives Rocko of sleep, "Rocko's Happy Vermin" in which Rocko saves him and his insect brethren from being eaten by Ed Bighead, and "Fly Burgers" in which he files an initially successful (but fraudulent) lawsuit against Rocko.
