Hey, guys... my name is Nora, and today I wanna talk about those two episodes "With Friends Likes These" from "Rocko's Modern Life", and "Duckman". 😊

So, "With Friends Like These" are the two episodes from two American animated television series "Rocko's Modern Life", and "Duckman". which those episodes were from my most favorite cartoon duo of all time. first, I'm going to start with "Rocko's Modern Life"! this episode was aired back in 1996. In the episode itself, Rocko tries to win two tickets at a wrestling match. but I somehow like the scene where Heffer and Filburt chase besides Rocko's car cause the scene really made me laugh. and second and final, I'm going to start with "Duckman". this is the 9th episode of the 4th season as the same title as "Rocko's Modern Life". in the beginning, Cornfed was on his desk calling a person. but I like the scene where he said "Bababooey" 3 times because this scene really makes me actually laugh. also, I remember the scene where Duckman goes to a party at his house without friends, I saw Cornfed wearing a party hat, and I liked the scene where Duckman said that friends had been stricken with Mad Cow Disease, he screamed, and Cornfed punched him in the face 4 times. and I was actually shocked when Cornfed said "In short, you're cynical, self-serving, contemptuous, nihilistic, diabolical, miserly, spineless, phlegmatic, cold-blooded, weak-willed, avaricious, smelly" and that cut where Cornfed said that, really makes me throw up rainbow and sparkles... but I liked this "Duckman" episode though, even the "Rocko's Modern Life" one. so, what's your opinion on those two episodes? 😀

According to TV Tropes, the name of the website, the special, Static Cling, received its trope of “Not Allowed to Grow Old”, meaning that all characters absolutely aren’t allowed to grow older beyond this point, while all of Filburt and Paula's children are all the only ones that have fully matured to their young adulthood already, that’s all. So I finally got around to reading the Rocko Boom! comics in full, and I think they're a lot better than I expected - a while back I read the first two issues and hated them, but once you get past the rather slow start with the waterslide story, there's some really fun stuff there, especially in Afterlife! Phones and the internet are implemented into O-Town really well and I love the little nuggets of alternate continuity and characterisation (but then again, I'm a weirdo who generally prefers adaptations to be unfaithful as a whole) - not as fun as the original episodes, but still really cool - Afterlife especially is quite heartfelt, I was expecting Pibby vibes but thankfully it's pretty reserved and there's no deaths. The guest comics also start off rough but get really fun later on. I very much enjoyed the guest comic with the Wolfe family by the creator of the This is Fine dog, and the one where Rock and Heff go to Ikea is something I'm surprised they didn't do in the original run. I love Rocko's shell-shocked comeback in Static Cling, but it's just as much fun to see him as a millennial living in a world where he takes clickbait and dank memes for granted.

I also gave another shot to the Marvel comics... Nuh uh. Not good. I'd describe those as being "what people who don't like Rocko think Rocko is" - excess cynicism without much point or counterbalance. Couldn't finish the third issue.

I’m only saying this since I’m just checking to make sure if they EVEN exist. So basely, Rocko’s Modern Life returned to Nicktoons on April 7, 2010 after a 2 year hiatus of being broadcasted starting at December 7, 2008. It was said that just like a couple of the older Nicktoons, Rocko’s Modern Life was one of those older Nicktoons to get next and more bumpers for itself. The show didn’t use it’s own next and more bumpers but it was presumably only during the first few months of it’s run, since it was said that just like two of the other Nicktoons, CatDog and Invader Zim returned to Nicktoons in 2010, but did not get their own bumpers until October 2010. But for Rocko, that has yet to be confirmed as there is not a lot of Nicktoons recordings of Rocko from October 2010 and beyond that are surfaced right now. I’m not just gonna harass people, but if anyone has any info about these sightings of the bumpers, let me know.

During this season, the series switched over from using cel animation to digital ink and paint. Due to this change, characters now have darker outlines, but duller looking colors. This series since 1998 switched from cels to digital ink and paint, starting from season 5's Prehistoric Rocko, also The Ren and Stimpy Show made a change in season 6's Mission Stimpossible, the starting episode, since this premiered in May 25, 1997. Other series that made the change include Pepper Ann (1998), The Angry Beavers (1999), The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries (1999), The Wild Thornberrys (1999), Johnny Bravo (1999), Daria (2000), Batman Beyond (2000), CatDog (2000), Rugrats (2000), SpongeBob SquarePants (2000), Men in Black: The Series (2000), 64 Zoo Lane (2001), Dexter's Laboratory (2001), Dragon Tales (2001), The Powerpuff Girls (2002), The New Woody Woodpecker Show (2002), The Simpsons (2002), King of the Hill (2003), and finally Ed, Edd n Eddy (2004).

I'm cannot watching more Rocko's Modern Life episodes because this show from the 1990s and I'm scared

I knew that Bev Bighead has newly adopted her guard dog, Earl, in Frog’s Best Friend, until Earl, even though as not mentioned, seemed to have physically disappeared from the rest of the Rocko’s Modern Life animated TV series and Static Cling, set after his final physical appearance as in Zanzibar! So, by the way, do you think that Earl is likely his own physical comeback as in his Rocko’s Modern Life animated work set after Static Cling? Why? Please let me know, thanks.😉
